Job summary

HARIBO of America, Inc. in Pleasant Prairie, WI is seeking a General Laborer to support production lines with duties such as catching and dumping product, inspection, and rework to meet quality, safety and cost standards. The role involves cross-training to fill in for Operator vacancies in Kitchen, Mogul, and Packaging areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic computer and clerical tasks required.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and measurements.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to read and understand SOPs and process docs.
• Willingness to train/coach others.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Catch and dump product, inspect, clean equipment and areas, restock materials and complete rework per quality/safety standards.
• Provide coverage for breaks and lunch as needed.
• Understand and adjust production equipment when required.
• Ensure paperwork is completed clearly and accurately.
• Report food safety/quality issues to management immediately.
• Communicate pertinent information to the next shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
