Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions in Utah is seeking a dependable forklift operator to move finished products from production to storage and to load/unload materials safely.

You will follow inventory instructions, operate equipment, and help maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment. Experience with RF scanners is a plus.

This position offers steady on-site work and opportunities to contribute to efficient packaging operations.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 35 pounds.
• Work jobs that have repetitive motion.
• Implement and follow safe work practices and rules.
• Proven experience as forklift operator.
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
• Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment.
• Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records.
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
• Maintain a clean & safe environment.
• May be required to use RF scanner gun.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Remove finished product from the main production line and transporting it to designated warehouse storage.
• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.
• Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment, following inventory control instructions.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
• Transport raw materials to production workstations
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
