Job summary

Omni Technologies, Inc. is looking for a full time Finisher on 2nd shift to trim, assemble, machine, and inspect urethane parts. The schedule is Monday - Thursday, 3PM-1AM with potential for overtime. On-the-job training and tuition reimbursement support career growth.

Essential duties include inspecting finished goods, using hand and power tools, reading blueprints, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products to Omni quality specifications and report defects promptly.
• Finish operations using hand and power tools while following instructions and safety rules.

• Take accurate part counts and measurements to ensure inventory accuracy and product quality.
• Follow written or verbal directions and complete tasks on time and correctly.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and perform basic equipment maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect products to Omni quality specifications, ensuring all finished goods meet established quality, safety, and workmanship standards. Identify defects, nonconformances, or inconsistencies and report issues promptly to the supervisor or quality team.
• Perform finishing operations using a variety of hand and power tools, including hand tools, drill presses, grinders, taps, and inserts, while adhering to work instructions, safety requirements, and production standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly instructions, and work orders to accurately perform assembly, bonding, and installation of various components according to specifications.
• Make accurate part counts and measurements, demonstrating strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and effective hand-eye coordination to ensure inventory accuracy and product quality.
• Read, understand, and follow work orders and verbal or written directions, ensuring tasks are completed correctly, efficiently, and within required timeframes.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and housekeeping duties, including cleaning work areas, tools, and equipment, and reporting equipment issues to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with 5S and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor to support production needs and maintain operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Competency in reading and using basic measurement instruments.
• Ability to lift/push or pull up to 25–50 pounds with or without assistance.
