POSITION SUMMARY:This role is pivotal in supporting our US Warfighters and the AbilityOne program contributing to ReadyOne Industries' mission. The Quality Auditor is responsible for conducting random inspections of lots after they are closed, following AQLs to determine if the lot passes or is rejected. This End Item Inspection is performed right before submitting a lot to the customer. The Quality Auditor drives initiatives that uphold our commitment to excellence and strategic objectives.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct End Item Inspections by randomly selecting and inspecting the lot following AQLs to determine if the lot passes or is rejected.Measure garments accurately using all necessary measuring devices.Understand and follow work instructions, specifications, tolerances, contracts, and Purchase Descriptions (PDs).Document any defects found during inspections and all measurements taken.Audit the packing process, ensuring products are packed correctly before submission.Audit the shipping process, including the palletization (wrapping and strapping) of pallets before Lot submission to the customer.Understand and apply ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 table for inspections.Follow procedures to conduct proper random and sample inspections.Maintain high inspection volume while ensuring accuracy.Consistently maintain a low defect rate (1% or lower).Demonstrate expert knowledge across all products within the department.Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures.Shadow an Auditor on inspections and perform mock audits to demonstrate an understanding of audit processes.Lead by example in maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.Exhibit proficiency in all inspection levels and quality control activities.Align with ReadyOne's cultural behaviors of accountability, diversity, honesty, collaboration, empathy, innovation, passion, and effective communication.Adhere to and execute company policies and procedures while driving continuous improvement across all operational processes.Contribute to projects and initiatives that directly contribute to the company’s strategic goals, including enhancing operational efficiency and maximizing profitability.MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education: High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.Experience: Six months related experience as an inspector or auditor.Specific Skills: Fluency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
