Job summary

Classic Salads is seeking a Janitorial Grounds Worker to maintain cleanliness and safety across the production facility. You will clean restrooms, lunchrooms, offices, and high-touch surfaces, restock supplies, and ensure compliance with GMP and food safety policies.

The role supports operational excellence in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; good teamwork and ability to follow instructions required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a similar environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of sanitation and workplace safety standards.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to work independently and in team environments.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect restrooms, lunchrooms, offices, and high-touch surfaces according to schedule.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wash down surfaces in restrooms, offices, and lunch areas.
• Maintain restrooms by refilling paper towels, soap, and dispensers.
• Empty trash in restrooms, lunchrooms, and offices and maintain lunchroom cleanliness.
• Clean refrigerators and windows in the lunchroom; stock sanitizers.
• Distribute PPE and logs; report deficiencies to management.
• Follow GMP and food safety policies at all times.
