Job summary

RRD in Durham, NC is seeking seasoned Electricians to support our facility. Must be able to work a 2,2,3 day shift, 6:45am - 7:00pm OR 6:45pm-7:00am.

You will install, modify, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and load new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, and fixtures. The role requires handling electrical components of machinery, ensuring safety and quality across test programs and environments.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of circuitry, installation, operation, and troubleshooting of sophisticated controls.
• Ability to lay out and wire electrical circuits; set up test configurations.
• Knowledge of safety interlocks and complex test systems.
• Experience with resistors, capacitors, and transistors in electronics.

RRD has immediate openings for seasoned Electricians to work in our Durham, NC facility!

Must be able to work a 2,2,3 day shift, 6:45am - 7:00pm OR 6:45pm-7:00am

• The ideal candidate will Install, modify, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and load new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, and associated fixtures, controls, and equipment.
• He/She will Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of the construction, installation, operation, and troubleshooting of sophisticated circuitry and controls associated with unique projects
• Examples include ability to formulate the layout sketch of required electrical circuits, wire new test setups, install strain gauge circuits and recording instruments as needed by the test program to measure performance of test articles, check the installed system to insure that specified electrical test conditions are attained, and may troubleshoot the electrical portions of the test equipment during test programs to determine cause of malfunction
• Critical limits are controlled by intricate interlock of safety systems of novel design and great complexity
• Knowledge and ability to anticipate and respond quickly to danger signs as they become evident through intricate warning systems to avoid loss of time and expensive equipment
• Must have skill in the use of hand tools, power tools and test equipment needed to perform job effectively
• Knowledge of electronics to electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, and transistors

Additional Information

RRD's current salary range for this role is $27.00 to $38.32 /hour. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future.At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
