  • Proficiency with Word, Visio, Project, Excel and Access.
  • Ability to travel occasionally within the United States.
  • Speak/read/write English, maintain professional relationships.

Job description

Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $65,000.00 Annually

Summary

The Production Engineering Technician supports the implementation of production systems and technologies that improve manufacturing operations. This position creates work instructions, trains production personnel, and provides frontline support for product processing and order fulfillment to ensure product quality and conformance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement production systems for new products, processes, and product design changes.
  • Design and implement production technologies that support the safe and efficient production of high-quality, conforming products.
  • Create work instructions, visual aids, and other materials to ensure product conformance.
  • Train production personnel on processes, procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for production processes.
  • Provide frontline support for product processing and order fulfillment.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in an engineering-related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Familiarity with CAD drawings and SolidWorks preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify process efficiencies and inefficiencies.
  • Self-motivated and able to lead improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Visio, Project, Excel, and Access.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with vendors and clients.
  • Ability to travel occasionally within the United States.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to sit for six or more hours per day.
  • Ability to occasionally bend, squat, and lift.
