Job summary

Pasona N A, Inc. is seeking a motivated Production Engineering Assistant to support daily manufacturing operations and develop skills in production engineering.

This role is about 70% production operations and 30% engineering support, with opportunities to grow into a Production Engineer position. The successful candidate will operate equipment, perform quality checks, and assist with CAD drawings, process improvements, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to go to China for training (3 weeks to a few months).
• Must have business and above level of Chinese language skill and business and above level of English language skill.

Preferred:

• Associate Degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design, CAD, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of manufacturing or production experience.
• CAD experience such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, process improvement, BOMs, quotations, or production documentation.
