Job summary

Rangeview, Inc. in El Segundo, CA seeks a Production/Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to help scale a cutting‑edge aerospace foundry.

You’ll work onsite on the factory floor to improve throughput, uptime, and process reliability while enabling the transition from low-rate to high-volume production. The role emphasizes practical engineering, data‑driven problem solving, and cross‑functional collaboration across hardware, software, and automation teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, ABET accreditation required, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in aggregating and analyzing technical data to make objective, data-informed decisions.
• Proficiency in process development using DOE or similar multi-path experimental approaches.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization.
• Competency with CAD software.
• Must be able to work full-time, W2, onsite in El Segundo, CA.
• This role may require access to ITAR-controlled technical data. Candidates must be currently authorized to access ITAR-controlled information as a U.S. person.

Responsibilities

• Review designs for producibility and lead tasks that transition hardware from low-rate initial production to volume production.
• Research, design, modify, and test production methods and equipment based on a deep understanding of hardware and software requirements.
• Improve production efficiency and effectiveness by analyzing workflows, optimizing space utilization, and maximizing equipment throughput without compromising quality.
• Establish standards, design testing methods, and implement rate production validation processes to support hardware and process quality.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize process information and trends to inform production strategy and propose solutions for future throughput and cost targets.
• Support equipment uptime and technician utilization to ensure conforming hardware is delivered on schedule.
• Develop, qualify, and implement automation solutions that support production ramp and manufacturing reliability.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to solve issues quickly and improve factory execution.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or test engineering in aerospace, automotive, or commercial industries.
• Experience in the investment casting industry.
• Intermediate CAD modeling capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to scale production throughput.
• Familiarity with WMS, MES, and ERP systems.
• Experience qualifying, operating, and maintaining industrial equipment.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.

Compensation

Please note that the compensation information below is a general guideline. Compensation is based on demonstrated candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Level 2: $108,000 – $132,000 annually + equity

Level 3IC: $126,0 00 – $154,000 annually + equity
