Leidos Dynetics is seeking a qualified Production Electronics Cable Assembly Technician for its Hypersonic line of business. The role involves assembling cable assemblies per IPC standards, troubleshooting defects, and collaborating with multiple teams to meet production quality.

You will read schematics and blueprints, maintain build records and testing results, and work in an integrated production facility with an emphasis on process efficiency and safety.

Leidos Dynetics is seeking a qualified Production Electronics Cable Assembly Technician for its Hypersonic line of business. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assembly of cable assemblies In Accordance With current IPC standards to support production schedules
• Identify and troubleshoot defects
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure standards are met.
• Be able to read schematics/ blueprints
• Maintain accurate build records and testing results

Basic Qualifications

• Be able to work from production drawings, schematics, Work Instructions (WI) / Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Authorization Documents (WAD).
• Have basic skills utilizing hand tools, DMM, Milliohm meter, and Microsoft Office
• Having basic mechanical aptitude
• Work with a team of engineers and Quality in a fast paced, environment
• Have organizational skills to document work and support configuration management
• Be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance
• Be able to effectively resolve issues when the need arises
• Current IPC 610, IPC 620 certifications
• Be able to fabricate and test wire harnesses from models and blueprints

Work will occur in work cells using efficient processes and product flows. Work will be conducted in an integration/production facility along with a laboratory environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiar with 5S work environment practices.
• Familiar with ESD and FOD controlled work environment methods.
• Experience working aerospace/aircraft component assembly/handling operations.
• Explosive Handling certification

Pay Range

Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
