Job summary

Vylor in Tipton, Indiana is seeking a Production Electrician to maintain electrical systems, perform repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime, and support safe plant operations. The role covers electrical, controls, instrumentation, HMI, and HVAC systems, with involvement in capital projects and strong safety practices.

You will work on-site at the Tipton facility, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with company safety

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Journeyman electrical license preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and NEC basics.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work meets safety standards and drive risk reduction.
• Perform electrical repairs, inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Create, update, and close work orders in CMMS with accurate labor and parts data.
• Support capital projects and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
• Maintain plant shop and maintenance tools in good condition.
• Use predictive maintenance tools to identify equipment issues and update PM plans.
• Maintain detailed equipment records and site/system prints.
• Lead maintenance activities with Operations to avoid production downtime.
• Maintain Enterprise Asset Management system data and provide user training.
