Instant Imprints Boise is hiring a Production Designer to create production-ready artwork for apparel, signage, vehicle wraps, and promotional products. Part-time initially (20–30 hours/week) with potential transition to full-time within 1–3 months as the team grows, offering flexible scheduling and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for production-ready artwork.
• Experience creating vehicle wrap layouts and paneling.
• Understanding of large-format printing workflows and vinyl processes.
• Ability to interpret measurements, templates, and blueprints with accuracy.
• High attention to detail and precision in design and production.
• Strong communication and teamwork during design-to-production handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Create production-ready artwork for apparel, signs, vehicle wraps, and promotional items using Adobe Illustrator.
• Layout, scale, and prepare files for vehicle wraps, decals, wall graphics, and signage.
• Convert customer artwork into vector formats when needed.
• Build proofs and mockups for customer approval.
• Prepare digital art files for embroidery, screen print, DTF, large-format print, and vinyl cutting.
• Coordinate with production staff to ensure artwork meets equipment/material specs.
• Maintain organized file storage and naming conventions.
• Communicate with sales to clarify branding requirements and design needs.
• Make revisions quickly based on customer feedback.
• Confirm measurements, scaling, colors, and print settings for accuracy.
• Assist with final inspection of printed materials and vehicle graphics.
