Sazerac is seeking a detail-obsessed Technical Designer – Production Artist to join our packaging and print workflow. This role blends design with production, ensuring artwork is ready for dielines, separations, finishes, and vendor specs.

You will manage multiple projects, collaborate with designers and vendors, perform thorough preflight checks, and support press checks to guarantee quality. A bachelor’s degree in graphic design and 3–5 years of related experience are preferred; advanced Adobe

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a technical design or production artist role
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Strong understanding of print production, prepress workflows, color management
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Prepare print-ready artwork for packaging, POS, and related materials
• Build and finalize dielines, separations, finishes, and production layers
• Ensure all deliverables meet printer/vendor specifications and production standards
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Partner with designers, account teams, and vendors for seamless execution
• Conduct detailed preflight checks and troubleshoot technical issues
• Support and attend press checks to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain organized file structures and version control
