Job summary

Galison seeks an experienced production designer to join our team in NYC. You will prepare preflight artwork, apply designs to templates, review proofs and packaging, and translate customer concepts into production-ready files.

You’ll collaborate with Sales, Creative, Sourcing, and Production, while coordinating with overseas manufacturers and vendors to resolve issues. You will maintain product specifications and renderings, support renderings and pitches, and contribute to workflow

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in production design, product development, print production or related field.
• Strong understanding of commercial print production, prepress, packaging and manufacturing processes.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

Responsibilities

• Prepare preflight artwork files to ensure accuracy.
• Apply artwork to product templates and production-ready files.
• Review proofs, packaging artwork, and production samples.
• Translate customer concepts into production-ready files.
• Create and maintain product specifications and renderings.
• Coordinate with overseas manufacturing partners and vendors.
• Collaborate with Sales, Creative, Sourcing and Production.
• Organize and maintain digital assets; support workflow improvements.
