Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is recruiting for an on-site Machine Operator to retrieve, inspect, and prepare products to meet customer specifications. The role requires understanding machine functions, safe operation, and accurate documentation, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include reading basic drawings, identifying materials, and performing routine maintenance. You will contribute to a safe, productive team environment and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or related experience.
• Ability to review and understand operator instructions.
• Ability to use basic math and communicate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, inspect, and prepare products to customer specifications.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all machine functions.
• Operate safely and follow lockout/tag-out procedures.
• Interpret basic part drawings.
• Identify materials needed for specific jobs.
• Complete time logs, inventory tags, and QC logs accurately.
• Perform routine machine maintenance including blade changes and fluid level checks.
• Maintain an average efficiency rate of 85% as directed by management.
• Assist with other duties as needed.

Job Summary

This role will retrieve, inspect, and prepare products to customer specifications.

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of all machine functions
• Consistently demonstrate safe working practices and procedures in operating machine
• Interpret basic part drawings
• Identify type and quantity or raw materials required for specific jobs
• Accurately complete all required documentation including time logs, inventory tags and QC logs
• Follow and understand all company lockout tag-out procedures
• Perform routine machine maintenance including blade changes, fluid level checks, cleaning and minor adjustments
• Maintain an average efficiency rate of 85% as determined by management
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Job Requirements

• High school diploma/equivalent or at least one month of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to review and understand operator instructions
• Ability to use basic mathAbility to communicate effectively with team members
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis
