Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is hiring a Soil Counter/Sorter to handle, count, sort and record incoming soiled textiles from customers. The role identifies damaged textiles and prepares items for transfer to other departments. You will support production operations with accuracy and efficiency.

The position is full-time with a Monday–Friday shift plus Saturday work after a holiday. Benefits include 401K, medical/dental/vision, and career development opportunities in a diverse team environment.

$19.29/Hour
Monday-Friday 5:00 am- 1:30pm. Saturday work after a holiday.

Job Summary

The Soil Counter/Sorter handles, counts, sorts and records incoming soiled textiles from the customer. Identifies damaged or abused textiles. Prepares and transfers textiles to other departments. Performs other tasks as needed.

Essential Functions

Typical Physical Activity

• Physical Demands consist of standing, walking, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, grasping, lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping.
• Physical Requirements consist of being able to meet the physical demands for the entire shift.

Typical Environmental Conditions

• Production areas of a typical industrial laundry facility, which includes variations in temperature, odors, humidity, lint and dust. Soiled linens come from a variety of customers such as restaurants, hotels, medical facilities and shops.
