The Community Church & Virginia Academy is seeking a Production Coordinator to lead production technology for events, chapels, and performances. You will mentor students and volunteers through hands‑on training in audio, video, lighting, and staging.

As the primary tech leader for Virginia Academy, you will oversee equipment, system maintenance, and event support, reporting to the Production Director. Strong organizational and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• This role requires hands‑on training and mentoring of students and volunteers.
• Proven ability to lead production planning and event execution with excellence.
• Strong knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and stage systems for school events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of production support for school events.
• Collaborate with faculty and event organizers to identify technical needs and plans.
• Lead live events and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
• Recruit, train, and develop student volunteers for production teams.
• Create training materials and operating procedures for production systems.
• Maintain production equipment, systems, and inventories; ensure readiness.
• Program and operate lighting, audio, and video systems for performances.
