Job summary

Pacific Seafood is seeking a Production Coordinator for the Penn Cove Plant to manage order fulfillment from warehouse to customer, coordinating harvest and production schedules and shipping logistics to ensure on-time delivery of fresh product.

The role requires at least three years in supply chain or logistics, a high school diploma, and strong multi-tasking skills. Bilingual English/Spanish and prior sales or customer service experience are a plus. Excellent teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in supply chain management or logistics.
• Proficient in cross-functional teamwork and coordination.
• Experience with freight logistics and perishable goods scheduling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Harvest and Production Coordination: coordinate daily sales orders and production in AS400; align with harvest/production crews.
• Logistics and Shipping Coordination: manage routing, BOLs, air/ground transportation, and update orders with costs.
• Customer Service and Support: communicate order status to customers and assist with recalls or issues.
• Backfill Office Duties: assist warehouse, production, and farm teams with labels/inventory as needed.

Compensation: $20.00 - $26.00 / hour

Summary:

As the Production Coordinator for Penn Cove, you will handle order fulfillment from warehouse to customer, coordinating harvest and production schedules, shipping logistics, and order accuracy to ensure on-time delivery of fresh, high-quality product.

Key Responsibilities

1. Harvest and Production Coordination:

• Coordinate with harvest and production crews on daily sales orders
• Create Productions in AS400
• Partner with sales to coordinate order fulfillment
• KPIs: Order fulfillment, credits related to order accuracy

2. Logistics and Shipping Coordination:

• Coordinate routing and delivery lanes in AS400
• Manage BOL and verify accuracy
• Arrange local, over road, and air transportation
• Update sales orders with airfreight costs and update sales orders
• Communicate with drivers and production
• KPIs: freight costs, supply chain throughput

3. Customer Service and Support:

• Communicate with customers regarding orders, delivery, and other sales status updates
• Assist with recall and other supply chain issues as needed

4. Backfill Office Duties as Needed:

• Assist warehouse, production, and farm teams with labels and inventory, as needed. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position

What you bring to Pacific Seafood

Required:

• Minimum of three years' experience in supply chain management or logistics
• High School diploma or GED
• Cross-functional team collaboration
• Strong prioritization skills and multi-tasking skills

Preferred:

• Experience managing freight logistics and production scheduling of perishable goods.
• Bi-lingual English and Spanish
• Prior Sales or Customer Service experience
