Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America in Green Bay, WI is seeking an administrative/operator support role to assist production with accurate data processing, tracking, and reporting. The position supports production records, inventory reconciliations, and daily operational activities to help ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Enter production data into spreadsheets, databases, and systems to maintain accurate records.
  • Process work orders and maintain production documentation for inventory accuracy.
  • Organize, verify, and file production records such as downtime sheets and logs.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/ad hoc reports for operations leadership.
  • Reconcile production transactions and inventory records; resolve discrepancies.
  • Investigate data variances and communicate findings to supervisors.
  • Distribute production recap communications and reports to managers.
  • Support inventory control activities, cycle counts, and audits.
  • Assist leadership with operational projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow GMP, safety, and quality procedures; ensure compliance.

Position Summary

Provide administrative and operational support to manufacturing operations through the accurate processing, tracking, and reporting of production information. Maintain production records, documentation, and inventory reconciliations to support efficient plant operations and business requirements. Coordinate the collection and organization of production data for reporting, auditing, and operational decision-making. Support production teams by serving as a resource for departmental processes and assisting with daily operational activities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Enter production data into spreadsheets, databases, and business systems to maintain accurate operational records
  • Process work orders and maintain production documentation to support manufacturing activities and inventory accuracy
  • Organize, verify, and file production records including downtime sheets, operator logs, sanitation logs, and pass-down reports
  • Compile production information and prepare daily, weekly, and ad hoc reports for operations leadership
  • Reconcile production transactions and inventory records to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Investigate production data variances and communicate findings to supervisors and appropriate stakeholders
  • Prepare and distribute production recap communications and operational reports to managers and supervisors
  • Support inventory control activities, cycle counts, audits, and other departmental administrative functions
  • Assist production leadership with operational projects, reporting requests, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Follow all safety, quality, food safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements to support compliance with company and regulatory standards

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 to 2 years of operations, administrative, manufacturing, or related experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Certification and/or license may be required during the course of employment
Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and spreadsheet functions
  • Intermediate data entry and recordkeeping skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to accurately reconcile production transactions and inventory records
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to follow established procedures and maintain confidential business information
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment including scanners, copiers, and printers
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
