Brand Junkie is seeking a Production Coordinator in Cypress, TX to plan and track orders through our decoration operations. You will maintain schedules up to two weeks in advance, prepare files for operators, and move orders into staging at required machines.

About the role

The Production Coordinator is responsible for preparing, scheduling, staging, and tracking orders through Brand Junkie’s decoration operations. This role maintains the production schedule up to two weeks in advance, prepares the files and information operators need to complete each job, and physically moves orders into staging at the appropriate machines. The Production Coordinator also updates order status in company systems and completes daily machine‑level production reporting to maintain accurate production and costing records.

What you'll do

  • Identifies production‑ready orders and schedules work up to two weeks in advance based on required completion dates, machine availability, and established production priorities.
  • Identifies rush orders, capacity concerns, and scheduling conflicts and recommends potential schedule or workflow adjustments to production leadership for approval.
  • Assigns scheduled orders to the appropriate embroidery or screen print machines and adjusts assignments as production needs change.
  • Physically moves orders and products into the appropriate production staging areas so work is ready for operators according to the established schedule
  • Reviews released orders to verify required production information, artwork, and decoration instructions are available before the order is staged for production
  • Saves, organizes, and makes available the appropriate production files, including embroidery and other decoration files, so operators have the information needed to complete each order
  • Coordinates with Order Processing or the Production Art team when production information, files, colors, or decoration instructions are missing or require clarification
  • Updates order status, production location, and applicable production information in Acumatica and other company systems as work moves through production
  • Monitors scheduled work throughout the day and updates production status based on actual progress and completed work
  • Coordinates the movement of orders between production areas when an order requires more than one decoration process
  • Records production damages or exceptions and coordinates with Inventory Control and Order Processing when replacement product is required
  • Completes daily production reporting showing work completed by machine and other required production details to support Finance review and production costing
  • Maintains organized production records and digital files so current and completed production information can be readily accessed
  • Monitors production supplies and communicates replenishment needs as necessary
  • Provides hands‑on production support, including operating equipment, when needed to support production workflow and business needs
  • Complies with all company standards as outlined in the employee handbook

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 1–2 years of experience in production coordination, production scheduling, manufacturing, warehouse operations, fulfillment, or a similar operational environment preferred
  • Experience in embroidery, screen print, apparel decoration, or other production environments preferred
  • Experience using an ERP, production management, inventory, or order management system preferred; Acumatica experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain production schedules and manage multiple orders, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to understand order documentation, production instructions, artwork files, and other information required to prepare work for production
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately update order status, production activity, and daily production records
  • Ability to identify scheduling or capacity issues, evaluate potential solutions, and communicate recommendations clearly
  • Comfortable working both at a computer and hands‑on within an active production environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate with production and cross‑functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create, maintain, and update production schedules, organize and filter production data, and accurately track multiple orders and deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Teams for routine business communication and coordination
