This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the DC Army National Guard. For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within One (1) year of appointment. This position is located in the Joint Force Headquarters-State, Logistics Directorate (J-4/G-4), Surface Maintenance Facility.

The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance production management, to achieve or maintain desires production levels, to serve as an equipment readiness expert for units supported by the facility, and to provide technical guidance and oversight to a lower-graded Production Controller. Duties: Establish, plan and schedule for maintenance and repair, using multiple process production methods and procedures for a variety of vehicles and equipment.

Implement maintenance plans and monitor progress of accomplishments. Prepare job work orders, schedule various phases of projects in to the production facility. Responsible for data input of work order information, status changes, supply updates, and other pertinent information. Conduct initial and long range planning on matters which include multiple process production, maintenance operations, equipment readiness, including mechanical skills.

Make in-the-spot adjustments to repair priorities necessitated by unscheduled maintenance requirements. performs other duties as assigned. Note: This is not a comprehensive list of duties and responsibilities for this PD Number NGD1255000 as released in FASCLASS.
