Northrop Grumman in San Diego, CA is seeking a Production Controller 3 to manage material flow on the shop floor with an onsite 1st shift 9/80 schedule. The role emphasizes tracking inventory levels, coordinating with material planning to ensure timely materials, and delivering hardware to the next step while maintaining accurate records in ERP systems.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma with 4 years of related manufacturing experience, and must be able to obtain a Secret clearance

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience in manufacturing or similar.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security Clearance
• Ability to obtain SAP access
• US Citizenship required
• Secret Security Clearance (Preferred)
• Experienced with SAP/S4Hana (Preferred)
• Experience with Material Expediting (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Tracks inventory levels and monitors inventory in WIP, On-Hold, MRB & In-Inspection locations
• Works with material planning to ensure materials are ordered in time to support Scheduling & Operations needs
• Work closely with Shop Floor Supervisors for optimized WIP Flow
• Issues scrapped and OBS material through MRP/ERP systems
• Processes Parts Replacement Requisition
• Higher Level Work Order Releases
• Scrap Material Handler
• Delivers hardware to next step
• Problem solving and research
• Receive in Sustainment Modules and move into WIP for repairs
• Position requires 80% of time on shop floor coordinating and controlling product flow and 20% of time updating systems to ensure accurate records in systems
• This position requires the ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying, lifting up to 35 pounds and working overhead.
• Ideal candidate is a team player and works well at multitasking

We are looking for you to join our team as a Production Controller 3 based out of San Diego, CA. This position will be onsite daily on 1st shift 9/80 schedule.

Primary Level Salary Range: $51,400.00 - $85,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
