Overview

As the North American headquarters for G-TEKT Corporation, Jefferson Industries participates in the global automotive industry. Jefferson Industries offers design and development for press dies and other tools required to produce automotive products. We support product development through product design review and Advanced Product Quality Planning. Our facilities focus on high quality product manufacturing and a timely, flexible approach to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain a stamping schedule.
  • Review previous shift production in PLEX to ensure that scheduled quotas were met and report information to the Assistant Manager of PRP.
  • Monitor stamping production needs to ensure teams have what is required to accomplish daily goals.
  • Review coil inventory to ensure required coils are available and report shortages to production to make necessary changes.
  • Monitor blanks to ensure each press has the necessary blanks for die changes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Intermediate computer skills and use of Excel.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks.
  • Work under pressure in a just-in-time environment.
  • Ability to work in a team setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous manufacturing and/or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime as required to meet customer demands (overtime may be daily and/or weekend).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screening and physical.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Weekly pay
  • $22.50/hour starting wage
  • Base-rate pay increase every three months for the first year
  • Additional $1.00/hour at 5 and 10 years of service
