Job summary

Professional Aircraft Accessories in Titusville, FL is seeking a Production Control coordinator to align daily activities with production goals across cycles. The role interfaces with Customer Service, Operations, and Supply Chain to publish induction/production plans and ensure timely material availability.

The position requires a high school diploma (GED) and experience in aerospace operations or production management.

Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace operations or production management preferred.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate locating, issuing, staging of materials and delivery to appropriate locations.
  • Communicate daily with other departments to convey production requirements and priorities and track work orders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory using computerized and manual filing systems.
  • Develop and publish the induction/production plan with Customer Service, Operations, Production Control and Supply Chain.
  • Assist other employees in duties within the area of qualification.
  • Coordinate with departmental reps to resolve parts/equipment procurement issues.
  • Support process improvement and cross-functional evaluation.
  • Maintain high accuracy in assigned tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Control coordinator is responsible for the daily coordination of activities to meet the production goals of their assigned phase (Cycle 1, 2, or 3) or function within the production system.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENT(S)
  • Communicate daily with other departments as necessary to communicate production requirements and priorities, accuracy of work orders status.
  • Coordinate the locating, issuance and staging of materials/inventory and delivery to the appropriate locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of transactions using computerized inventory and manual filing systems.
  • Work closely with Customer Service, Operations, Production Control and Supply Chain to develop and publish the induction / production plan.
  • Assist other employees in the performance of their duties with area(s) of qualification.
  • Coordinate with other departmental representatives to resolve process problems related to obtaining parts, component and or equipment.
  • Process improvement including multi-functional process evaluation.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in tasks assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
EDUCATION

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

EXPERIENCE

Experience in aerospace operations, maintenance, production management or material handling/procurement or equivalent preferred.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Ability to use computers to input and retrieve data for Inventory Management. Working knowledge of MS Office programs.

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES

Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Certificate preferred.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Working knowledge of all areas within customer service, operations and material support. Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations concerning airworthiness approval tags and traceability. Thorough knowledge of Inventory transactions. Thorough knowledge of ESD Material. Thorough knowledge of shipping/receiving including hazardous materials.
