Clean and sanitize processing and production equipment and these areas of the plant according to job standards.* Clean and sanitize food processing equipment and food processing facilities. Operate specialized equipment such as floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, etc. to perform functions of job.* Prevent cross contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces and food contact packaging during sanitation procedures.* Follow all company Sanitation SOPs for cleaning equipment and facility.* Perform pre-inspection of clean equipment before requesting supervisor approval.* Removal of trash/garbage for the facility; mopping as needed, cleaning of floor drains and any exterior areas requiring attention.* Complete all required sanitation and work order documentation.* Washes and maintains cleaning carts and tools.* Maintain all sanitation related equipment including but not limited to automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, instructions., cleaning equipment and tools.* Perform other duties as assigned by the sanitation supervisor.* Keeps the cleaning supplies stocked, on-hand and organized.* May be asked to work in other areas as needed, if trained.* You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
