Manpower Group (USA) is helping a life sciences manufacturer in Hercules, CA hire a Production Chemist I. The position supports the manufacturing department, focusing on quality, accuracy, and compliance in a controlled environment.

The role requires a biology/chemistry life science background, up to 3 years of lab/manufacturing experience, and proficiency with Excel. Shift is 8am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday, offering growth within a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related life science field.
• 0 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Good mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Formulate bulk solutions, buffers, and reagents for Bio-Education and Bio-Plex product lines.
• Execute manufacturing processes according to approved SOPs and Production Procedures.
• Complete batch records and documentation in compliance with GDP and GMP requirements.
• Perform in-process and final quality control testing.
• Maintain inventory and production records using SAP, and operate laboratory equipment effectively.
