G-III Apparel Group seeks a Production Associate for Vince Camuto Dresses in New York City. You will support end-to-end production, maintain the calendar, manage vendor profiles, and coordinate with sales, logistics, and product teams to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Merchandising or equivalent, 2–3 years in fashion apparel production, and strong cost negotiation, communication, and timeline management skills.

Responsibilities

• Production Calendar and Maintenance: update factory dates, ship modes, and share with sales/logistics.
• Set up new factories and manage vendor profiles.
• Yearly Cut and Delivery Calendar for full price and off-price/outlet.
• Check TOP samples against design specs and bulk swatches.
• Update and analyze seasonal reporting.
• Organize weekly sales meetings to review production status and issues.

Success Profile:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Associate to support the end-to-end production process for the Vince Camuto dress business. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery, production accuracy, and operational excellence across multiple seasons and delivery calendars. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses knowledge in production WIP and timeline management, and is proactive in driving cross-functional communication.

Reports to: Director of Production, Vince Camuto Dresses

Location (On-Site): New York City, Midtown Manhattan - Fashion District

Key Accountabilities:

Production Calendar and Maintenance:

• Production system maintenance; this includes updating factory dates and ship modes, and passing all pertinent information to sales and logistics
• Set up new factories and manage vendor profiles
• Yearly Cut and Delivery Calendar for full price and off-price/outlet

Other Responsibilities:

• Checking in TOP samples against design specs and bulk swatches
• Update and analysis seasonal reporting
• Organize weekly touch base meetings with sales to review current production standing and any outstanding issues.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Merchandising or equivalent background in fashion
• 2-3 years of fashion industry experience in apparel production
• Strong cost negotiating skills combined with a detailed knowledge and understanding of cost breakdown
• Communication skills for partnership with product development, merchandising, design and overseas production team

The pay range for this position is: $31.25 per hour/$65,000 per year (Annualized salary is based on a 40 hour work week)- $33.66 per hour/$70,000 per year (Annualized salary is based on a 40 hour work week)
