Job summary

BlueScope Buildings is hiring a Production Associate to support the loading and unloading of materials, assist with assembly, and ensure quality through precise inspections. You’ll work with conveyors and equipment, using a torque gun and measuring tools to meet exact specifications.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. The position runs Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–10:00pm with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Maintain housekeeping and 5S practices.

Join Our Team as a Production Associate!

We’re looking for skilled and detail-oriented individuals to assist in the production process by loading and unloading material from machines, conveyors, and mobile equipment; supplying or holding materials or tools; inspecting or wrapping; as well as stacking and banding material or products. Whether you’re experienced in production or eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment, we welcome candidates of all backgrounds to bring their unique strengths to our team.

Hours are Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm with some OT required.

Pay for this position is $20.61/hour and will include a $2.00/hour shift differential

What You’ll Do

• Load Materials : loads and unloads material from machines, conveyors, etc.
• Prepare and Assemble: Assemble materials with a torque gun and assist in the placement of products on equipment or work surfaces, supplying or holding materials or tools
• Ensure Quality: Utilize measuring tools and processes to perform inspections before, during, and after production, ensuring materials meet exact specifications.
• Contribute to Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Maintain and Organize: Support housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices.
