Job summary

Unigen Corporation in Newark, CA, is seeking a Production Associate – SMT to support the Surface Mount Technology line. You will assist SMT Operators with feeder setup/teardown, line changeovers, and line preparation to ensure smooth production and quality adherence in a fast-paced EMS environment.

Responsibilities include reviewing the production schedule, verifying MPI and BOM revisions, handling reflow ovens and AXI inspection equipment, and following detailed work instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required (diploma preferred).
• 1+ year experience in manufacturing/electronics production preferred.
• Familiarity with SMT processes and ESD practices a plus.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, specifications, and visual aids.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
