Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years in a high-volume production environment as a machine/press operator.
• Solid detail and decision making to check product quality and meet deadlines.
• Solid mechanical aptitude to select and use appropriate equipment, supplies, and tools.
• Strong math skills to compute percentages, weights and measures.
• Ability to follow complex English instructions and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of all completed work in the shop floor data system or paper forms.
• Ensure products are staged with proper identification in the next work area.
• Keep materials, supplies and carts stocked; notify when inventory is needed.
• Maintain productivity, quality, service, spoilage, security and safety goals.
