Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a Saw Shop Operator in St. Louis, MO to set up and operate power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation. You will be a vital part of our pallet manufacturing process and join a team dedicated to quality.

You will work Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with hourly pay of $15.00 and benefits including healthcare and 401(k). Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift pallets weighing about 50 lbs on a regular basis (as needed).
• Prior lumber/warehouse/construction experience preferred.
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Overtime availability may be required.

Overview

As a Saw Shop Operator, you’ll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be the a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

Hourly Pay:

$15.00/hr

Shift(s):

Monday - Friday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets

• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations

• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis

• Ability to work overtime as needed

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis

• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred

• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
