48forty Solutions in Salem, OR is seeking a Saw Shop Operator to set up and operate power saws for slotting, cutting, and trimming wood for pallet production. This role is pivotal in the pallet manufacturing process, with a Monday–Friday shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm.

As a Saw Shop Operator, you’ll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be the a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

Hourly Pay

$16.00/hr - $17.00/hr.

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis

• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred
