48forty Solutions in Dallas, TX is seeking a Saw Shop Operator to set up and operate power saws for slotting, cutting, and trimming wood pallets. This role is essential to our pallet manufacturing process, with first shift Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm and hourly pay of $17.00.

You will lift up to 50 lbs regularly, follow safety rules, communicate with plant management, and may work overtime. A high school diploma or GED is required; prior lumber/warehouse experience is a plus.

Overview

As a Saw Shop Operator, you’ll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be the a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

Hourly Pay:

$17.00/hr

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

What You'll Do

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets

• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations

• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis

• Ability to work overtime as needed

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis

• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred

• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
