Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Production Associate for a night shift in Baltimore, MD. Work from 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM with Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays off, at our newest location on 1701 E Patapsco Ave. You’ll move between tasks, pick ingredients, and ensure quality through the assembly process.

Onboarding includes a strict 2-week window with Wednesdays orientations. GMP practices apply; accommodations available. Health benefits, 401k, paid time off, and more are provided.

• HS Diploma preferred but not required.
• 6+ months of production/warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with others as a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with picking ingredients throughout the assembly process.
• Visually inspect produce for quality and freshness.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in a refrigerated environment (34–36F) during the shift.

This role follows a Night shift schedule, working from 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM, with designated days off on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. A successful Production Associate will have

• a positive attitude, reliable transportation, and willingness to move between tasks when needed
• strong attention to detail while picking ingredients throughout the assembly process
• an ability to visually inspect produce
• an ability to stand for long periods of time
• an ability to lift (less than 50 pounds)
• a willingness to work in a refrigerated environment for the entire shift (34-36F)

Orientation + Onboarding Requirements

Once you join the team, there is a strict 2-week onboarding window where you will be expected to be present every scheduled work day. Orientations are typically on Wednesdays, starting at 7:15am.

We follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and all of our associates are required to keep our customers safe. Please note restricted items:

• Piercings or dermals
• Fake nails, nail polish, and/or acrylic nails
• Watches, bracelets, or other jewelry
