Job summary

Quanex is seeking Production Associates for the Night Shift in Bowling Green, Kentucky. You will perform loading, unloading, and stacking wood blanks while meeting safety and quality standards.

Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits accompany this full-time role. Shifts run Monday–Thursday 7:30p–6:00a with overtime possible on Fridays; Saturdays and Sundays off. Training and teamwork are emphasized in a dynamic culture.

Qualifications

• Must be able to handle basic manual tasks with dexterity.
• Must perform repetitive production processes accurately and safely.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform loading, unloading, and stacking of wood blanks on the night shift.
• Adhere to safety procedures and report safety issues promptly.
• Keep the work area organized and clean following 5S standards.

Quanex is looking for a few Production Associates to join our Night Shift team located in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

In this role you are responsible for performing assigned production functions (loading, unloading, stacking blanks of wood) in a safe manner to consistently meet production standards and quality requirements.

What’s attractive about the Production Associate position?

• $17.00 - $19.04 per hour (rate includes 12% shift differential), pay based on applicable work experience
• Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 7:30p - 6:00a with Overtime on Friday if needed
• Saturdays and Sundays Off!

What Success Looks Like:

• Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines and identifies any existing or potential safety issues.
• Attends work on time and for scheduled hours each day.
• Receives direction from and notifies the supervisor/team lead when more work is needed.
• Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
• Maintains the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards.
