Job summary

Anduril Industries in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Production Associate to join our Manufacturing Production team. You will help manage inventory, coordinate material flow, and support the production process to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies on the floor.

The role requires hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced environment, strong ownership, and clear communication with cross-functional teams across Quality, Engineering, Warehouse and Manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a warehouse associate or equivalent role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• On-site work in Irvine, Santa Ana and Costa Mesa.

Responsibilities

• Work across the production floor to ensure parts are stocked and available when needed.
• Identify, pull, pack, crate, label, load, and secure product.
• Deliver production materials and supplies to where needed to ensure orderly production and distribution.
• Complete cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain inventory by labeling, recording locations, and reporting shortages.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
• Courier inventory between Anduril sites in Irvine, Santa Ana and Costa Mesa.
• Expedite flow of material between departments per schedules.
• Inventory adjustments and RCCA of missing/incorrect material handling.
• Oversee and manage items moving to/from production floor and MRB.
• Cross-functional communication with Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, Manufacturing, and business lines.

The Manufacturing Production team is responsible for a wide range of activities that are crucial to the manufacturing process including operating equipment, assembling products, performing quality control checks, ensuring material inventory is correct and well managed, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Production Associate, you will join our Manufacturing team at the Santa Ana, CA office. The Production Associate is responsible for managing inventory, assisting with coordinating material flow, and supporting the production process to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies. The right person for this role can demonstrate strong ownership and ability to solve operational challenges with creative solutions in a fast-paced, resource-limited environment. This person will be flexible to provide support wherever needed to ensure parts are restocked on the production floor.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Work across the production floor to make sure parts are stocked and available when needed
• Identifying, pulling, packing, crating, labeling, loading, and securing product
• Ensure orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed
• Complete cycle counts and conduct all activities with inventory accuracy as a top priority
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signal machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks and loading docks
• Courier inventory as needed between Anduril’s sites in Irvine, Santa Ana and Costa Mesa
• Expedite flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules

• Inventory adjustments and RCCA of missing/incorrect material handling

• Oversight and material management over items moving to and from production floor and MRB
• Cross functional team communication between multiple teams supporting production to ensure inventory management is tracked and accurate. (Example; Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, Manufacturing, business lines)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years as a warehouse associate or equivalent role
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to be onsite, local to Irvine, CA, Santa Ana, CA and Costa Mesa, CA
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years forklift experience and license
• Experience working in the defense/aerospace industry
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and/or other warehouse management and inventory control tooling.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office or equivalent office management tooling
• Familiarity with Inventory Management through lot/serial/batch tracking
• Experience packaging and handling hazardous shipments
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to adapt in fast-paced environments
• Ability to flex as work shifts can be subject to change depending on the business need
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively

US Hourly Range
$25 — $33 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
