Job summary

Bell & Evans is seeking reliable Tray Pack Associates to join our production team. You will help prepare and move poultry products, support customer orders, and uphold food safety, quality, and production standards in a fast-paced environment.

Training is provided; prior poultry experience is not required. We value dependable, safety-driven team players who can follow procedures, work with supervisors, and contribute to a clean, efficient workplace.

  • Safely handle and move poultry products within the Tray Pack Department.

  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and report issues.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.

About the Position

Bell & Evans is looking for reliable and hardworking team members to join our Tray Pack team.

As a Tray Pack Associate, you will play an important role in preparing and moving poultry products so customer orders can be completed safely, efficiently, and accurately. You will work as part of a team to maintain Bell & Evans' high standards for food safety, product quality, and production performance.

Previous experience is preferred but not required. We will provide training to help you learn the job and our procedures.

What You'll Do
  • Safely handle and move poultry products within the Tray Pack Department.
  • Lift and transport large trays of product weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Carry trays of product to designated loaders.
  • Support the Tray Pack team in completing customer orders.
  • Follow all food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Monitor products for quality and immediately report any safety or quality concerns.
  • Follow instructions, standard operating procedures, and production requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Work cooperatively with supervisors, leads, and other team members.
  • Support other areas of the department or Production as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Physical & Work Environment

This is an active production position. You should be comfortable:

  • Working in hot, cold, wet, and noisy environments.
  • Standing and moving for extended periods.
  • Performing repetitive movements with your arms, wrists, and hands.
  • Bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying throughout the shift.
  • Lifting and carrying trays weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Working around production equipment.
  • Maintaining a steady pace in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Previous poultry, food manufacturing, or production experience is preferred but not required.
  • No formal education is required.
