Job summary

BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. is seeking a Production Associate to join our Saint Joseph, MO facility. You will support daily production by loading and unloading material, feeding conveyors, and ensuring smooth operation of equipment.

You will wrap, stack, and crate products, participate in 5-S housekeeping, and engage in continuous improvement activities. No extensive experience is required beyond a high school diploma; basic computer skills and the ability to follow instructions are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or ACT WorkKeys Assessment at certified job profile skill level.
• 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills; ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist by loading and unloading material from machines, conveyors, etc.
• Assist in the placement of products on equipment or work surfaces, supplying or holding materials or tools.
• Wraps, stacks, and bands material or products.
• Builds or assembles crates.
• Actively participates in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Perform housekeeping, 5-S, and other duties as assigned.
