Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking an entry level production associate to support production and packaging of component trays, kits, and other packages for customer orders. You will perform tasks to ensure products are assembled, inspected, and prepared for shipping.

The role involves rotating between tasks on the production line, handling materials, and meeting safety and quality standards. High school diploma or GED preferred; ability to lift up to 60 lbs is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, verify, and sort materials.
  • Assemble trays, kits, or packages according to specifications.
  • Operate embroidery machines and process garments when required.
  • Measure, fold, pack finished goods and inspect for defects.
  • Use correct documentation and packaging materials; pack for delivery.
  • Maintain and operate production equipment; keep workstations clean.
  • Follow safety rules and meet quality targets.
  • Assist other departments as needed to ensure production output.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Materials and Processing:
    • Receive, verify, and sort materials.
    • Handle work orders and calculate material requirements.
    • Receive, store, and process raw materials like fabrics and trims.
  • Order Assembly and Production:
    • Assemble trays, kits, or packages according to specifications.
    • Rotate between different tasks on the production line.
    • If required, operate embroidery machines and process garments.
    • Measure, fold, pack finished goods. Inspect products for defects and ensure quality standards.
    • Use correct documentation and packaging materials. Pack finished goods for delivery.
    • Maintain and operate production equipment. Keep workstations organized and clean.
    • Follow safety rules and maintain clean work areas.
    • Meet quality and productivity targets.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or GED Level of Degree in the general education field of study preferred
  • Certification / Licensure:

  • Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
    • Ability to read, write and compute basic math.
    • Fluently speak, read and write English.
    • Must be able to use a computer to locate information and print reports
    • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
    • Must be able to Bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily.
    • Ability to work well with others in order to accomplish team objectives.
    • Must have high sense of urgency.
    • Assist other departments as needed to ensure production output meets or exceeds goals.

SALARY

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$16.00 - $23.25 Hourly

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

BENEFITS

Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average. For roles where employees work less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions, paid time off, as well as access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp.
