Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a production assembler for its Filtration Group in Holly Springs, MS. You will operate production equipment, assemble components to specifications, and help maintain quality using measurement tools.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 1–3 months of related experience. Candidates should be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety policies and environmental guidelines and observe housekeeping requirements.
  • Assemble products according to specifications, work instructions, or blueprints.
  • Use hand tools safely (press, torque wrenches, drills, etc.).
  • Assist in testing completed product and ensure quality using gauges and measurements.
  • Participate in problem solving, continuous improvement, and process standardization.
  • Maintain area cleanliness and assist in broader facility clean-up as needed.
  • Be prepared to reassign to other departments based on workload.
  • Provide ongoing training to employees as required.

Position Summary
Job Purpose Statement

Operates a variety of production equipment, assembles various components into completed or partially completed products or assemblies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support and adhere to Parker's Code of Ethics, policies, and procedures and observe housekeeping guidelines. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Essential Job Functions
  • Follows established safety and environmental policies, procedures, and methods applicable to the work area.
  • Perform assigned duties in conformance with established production standards and following established work instruction
  • Assembles product, following specifications, work instruction or blueprints.
  • Use of hand tools safely and effectively (press, torque wrenches, drills, etc.)
  • Assists in testing completed product.
  • Responsible for maintaining quality of work utilizing judgement, measuring devices and gauges
  • Participate in problem solving, continuous improvement, and customer complaint resolution efforts.
  • Participate in daily area clean up and more significant facility clean-up efforts as assigned.
  • Accept reassignment to other departments as workload dictates.
  • Required to provide continue training to all employees and performs other duties as necessary.

Full - Time

Shift/Pay Rate

17.50 hourly, Weekly pay.

You are expected to work two Mandatory Saturdays out of each month; every other Saturday.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required: one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions, work orders, procedures, prints, and short correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form with engineers, managers, and other associates to share information and help to solve problems.

Mathematical Skills

Add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Other Skills and Abilities

Computer skills including MS Word and Excel preferred. May require climbing ladders.
