Job summary

Heiwa Tofu in Rockport, ME is looking for a full-time production team member to join a small, family-run facility. You will help with tofu production, daily cleanup, and record keeping, in a steady, fairly quick workflow.

Hours start between 6am–9am; regular raises begin after three months with a quarterly bonus of about $1/hr. The position offers benefits and growth opportunities in a hands-on food manufacturing setting.

Job description

Heiwa Tofu is a small food manufacturer in Rockport, ME producing high quality, organic tofu from Northeast grown soybeans. Our goal is to create clean and wholesome food that we are proud to feed to our families, friends, and community. Our crew of 10-12 produces over 12,000 pounds of tofu every week. They are central to the success of the business and we treat them with respect. We maintain a friendly, supportive environment.

Initial responsibilities involve tofu production work, daily cleanup and record keeping. This is a year-round position available immediately. The pace of work is a very steady and fairly quick paced. You are on your feet and moving all day. Sloths need not apply.

Shift start times available between 6am and 9am.

The right candidate must:
