POSITION PURPOSE

The primary responsibilities of the Production Associate will be cleaning and prepping of radiators, oil coolers, and associated parts, assembling and/or building units. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with the ability to work with minimal supervision and cooperate in a team environment. Assists supervisor in identifying maintenance requirements. Performs all work activities in accordance with Health and Safety Program and Quality System. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ability to use air tools, impact, grinder, etc.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools, hammer, wrenches, etc.
  • Successfully complete training per requirements of company training program.
  • Assist other employees in setup and operation functions as needed.
  • Identify improvements of methods that will increase quality and profitability.
  • Identify maintenance issues as they arise.
  • Provide information as requested to other departments to facilitate the completion of work projects.
  • Understand and comply with all facets of the Health and Safety Program.
  • Understand and comply with all facets of the Attendance and PTO policies.
  • Read, understand, and follow routings and work instructions.
  • All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)
  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • Prior basic tool operation experience preferred, but not required.
  • Should have basic math and reading skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to bend, lift, stand repetitively throughout the day.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Ability to work with hands-on tedious operations.
