Steve Madden Ltd. is seeking a Production Associate, Footwear, in New York to manage the flow of product between vendors and factories and coordinate shipments with agents and warehouses.

The role supports the Whole and Footwear business and is based on-site in NYC. The position requires coordinating information, troubleshooting shipping issues, and ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery across countries.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years’ experience in related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flow of information to sales force and customer service.
• Enter all work in process; update changes with prices, factories, XF.
• Troubleshoot shipping and delivery issues.
• Coordinate shipments with agents and warehouses.
• Monitor flow of goods to ensure punctual delivery and cost effectiveness.
• Oversees and monitors delivery of all orders placed in various countries.
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

General Summary

The Production Associate, Footwear is responsible for the flow of product between vendors and factories and coordinates shipments with agents and warehouses . This position supports the Whole and Footwear business.

The responsibilities described below are considered essential functions of the role. This position is based in our NYC office and requires working on-site five days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of information to sales force and customer service
• Enter all work in process; update all changes correctly with prices, factories, XF
• Troubleshoot shipping and delivery issues
• Coordinate shipments with agents and warehouses
• Monitor the flow of goods to ensure punctual delivery and cost effectiveness
• Oversees and monitors delivery of all order placed in various countries
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $66,300-70K. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure. In addition to the base salary, Steve Madden offers a competitive benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, 401K, paid holidays, a generous paid time-off policy, and career opportunities within a dynamic team.
