Production Associate- Creole Translator - Trainer - 1st Shift

Join our team at Perdue Foods as a Production Associate Translator! We seek dedicated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. As a Production Translator/Trainer, you will play a vital role in various aspects of poultry processing, including working with live poultry and raw products. Typical duties include live hang, debone, cut up, evisceration, marination, stack off, Multivac, overwrap, and sanitation.

This position involves working in a production area handling poultry products, with responsibilities that may include working with live poultry, raw, and cooked products. The work schedule is typically five to six days a week, with possible overtime based on production needs.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate at various stations along the production line processing poultry
  • Follow all safety protocols, including PPE, safety reporting, Lockout-Tagout, and Process Safety Management
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Participate in safety programs
Minimum Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in poultry processing or manufacturing environment is preferred
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Work in a plant environment with exposure to wet floors, varying temperatures (28°F to 100°F), humidity, noise (50-110 dB), dust, feathers, and chemicals. Must wear safety equipment, stand for hours, and lift up to 50 lbs. Reaching, bending, and pushing are also required.
