Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a Bandsaw Operator in Orangeburg, SC to set up builders and operate power saws for slotting, cutting, and trimming wood pallets. This production-based role offers hourly pay with opportunities for overtime and advancement.

Typical shifts are Mon-Fri, 7:00am–3:00pm. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and comply with safety guidelines. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

Overview

As a Bandsaw Operator, you’ll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be the a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

Hourly Pay:

$15.00/hr. - $25.00/hr. (production-based position)

Shift(s):

Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm

Location:

Orangeburg, SC, 29115

What You'll Do

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets

• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations

• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis

• Ability to work overtime as needed

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis

• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred

• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
