48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a Bandsaw Operator in Atlanta, GA to set up and operate power saws for slotting, cutting, and trimming wood for pallets. You will be a key part of the pallet manufacturing process in a production-based role.

The position offers hourly pay ranging from $14.00 to $25.00, with Monday–Friday shifts from 7:00am to 3:30pm. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and have a High School diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift pallets weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Prior lumber/ warehouse/ carpentry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Overview

As a Bandsaw Operator, you’ll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be the a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

Hourly Pay:

$14.00/hr. - $25.00/hr. (production-based position)

Shift(s):

Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

What You’ll Do

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets


• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations


• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis


• Ability to work overtime as needed

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or GED


• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis


• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred


• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality


• Ability to communicate effectively


• Ability to work overtime as needed
