Qualifications

• Pass aptitude test covering basic math, reading directions and understanding diagrams.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and stand for long periods.
• Read blueprints and understand verbal and written instructions.
• Able to use hand and power tools, measuring equipment such as gauges, calipers, indicators, scales, and tape measures.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and package components using hand and power tools, following blueprints.
• Perform a variety of tasks/roles throughout the day in a steady-paced production environment.
• Conduct required quality checks and complete required documentation (e.g., scrap sheets, logs, data gathering, first/last piece inspection reports).
• Set ups and operates various machines and equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment using 6S principles.
• Use computer for production-related tasks such as data entry and creating labels.
• Operate various material handling equipment such as power pallet jacks, lifts and packaging wrappers.
• Performs multiple tasks, and rotates from position to position as required in the production process.
• Use appropriate PPE for the task assigned.
• Regular attendance and ability to work overtime.
