Job summary

Ornua in Hilbert, Wisconsin is seeking a Production Associate to support plant efficiency, ensure product quality, and uphold safety and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work in a fast-paced cheese production environment with a focus on cleanliness and GMP.

The role requires rotating between production areas, weighing ingredients, loading equipment, packaging products, and adhering to HACCP standards. This is a full-time night shift position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between production areas to support operations.
• Open barrels, blocks, bags of cheese, and other ingredients.
• Weigh ingredients according to batch specifications.
• Package cheese into bags, boxes, and pallets for shipment.
• Load cheese and ingredients into processing equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety, GMP, and HACCP requirements.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and consistent performance.

What You'll Do

As a Production Associate, you will: Rotate between production areas as needed to support operationsOpen barrels, blocks, bags of cheese, and other ingredientsWeigh ingredients according to batch specificationsUse knives and cutting wires to trim ingredients to required weightsLoad cheese and ingredients into processing equipmentTransfer ingredients from scales to pick-up tablesPackage cheese into bags, boxes, and pallets for shipmentStack finished product onto palletsEmpty recycling and waste containers to maintain workflowMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all safety, food safety, GMP, and HACCP requirementsAdhere to company and departmental proceduresPerform additional duties as assigned by leadershipDemonstrate reliable attendance and consistent performance

Work Environment
