Job summary

GoMacro LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Production Associate to deliver high‑quality plant‑based bars in a clean, safe environment. You will hand‑transfer bars to the packaging line and perform quality checks on weight, texture, and appearance in line with GMPs and the Food Safety Plan.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced, team setting where safety matters. Shift: 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety.
• Basic math skills for measuring weights and quantities.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to produce MacroBars.
• Monitor the production line, transfer product to packaging, weigh finished bars.
• Operate the packager, tray loader, box erector and palletizer.
• Maintain PPE usage and safety procedures (lockout/tagout when necessary).
• Support Quality Department and allergen control programs.

Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour + annual discretionary bonus plan of 3-5%

2nd Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Position Description:

As a Production Associate at GoMacro, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food products in a safe, efficient, and sanitary environment. This hands‑on position is responsible for hand‑transferring bars to the packaging line and performing quality assurance inspections, including checks for bar weight, texture, and visual imperfections, while maintaining strict adherence to food safety standards, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and GoMacro’s Food Safety Plan. You will work collaboratively with the production team to ensure a seamless flow of product and a clean, safe, allergen‑conscious workspace.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment where quality and safety are top priorities.

Primary Responsibilities

Production:

• Collaborate with team members throughout the production process to create MacroBars
• Monitor the production line, transfer product to the packaging area, and accurately weigh finished bars
• Operate the packager, tray loader, box erector, and palletizer

Safety:

• Consistently use personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe work environment
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of equipment operation and apply lockout/tagout procedures when necessary

Quality:

• Work in coordination with the Quality Department to uphold GoMacro’s high‑quality standards
• Follow the allergen control program to prevent cross‑contamination

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management
