Job summary

Kenny's Great Pies, a Dessert Holdings Company located in Smyrna, Georgia, is seeking a Production/Packaging Associate to join our team on the 2nd shift (2:30pm-11:30pm). You will apply crusts, mix ingredients, operate equipment, and inspect product quality while adhering to GMP and safety guidelines.

You’ll also help with packaging, meet weights and specifications, and maintain a clean, safe, efficient workspace as part of a collaborative production team. Benefits are provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply crust into pie pans
• Mix ingredients following recipes and production standards
• Operate production equipment, such as the juice machine
• Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality
• Ensure product weights to meet specifications
• Follow all safety and food-handling guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support team members and assist with other production duties as needed

Pay:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour on 2nd shift (2:30pm- 11:30pm)

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

• Using machines and equipment to help prepare products
• Checking to make sure everything looks right and works right
• Moving items in and out of coolers, freezers, or other areas

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to keep everything safe and clean
• Build desserts according to clear instructions
• Meet production goals within the required time
• Maintain a tidy and clean organized work area
• Follow dress code & personal hygiene rules
• Report waste or any time you step off the line
• Protect food quality and safety throughout your shift
• Learn safety systems like SQF, HACCP, and GMP (training provided!)
• Follow company policies and assist with other tasks as needed
